Well, Federal Prisons are not noisy. I used to purchase Federal surplus property. Occasionally from Federal in prisons. You could pretty much plan on most of the day there with the screenings which where not even to get 'in' the prison just on the grounds.
Not a loudspeaker, not a whistle barely the sound of the wind. Quieter than a National park. Just because you see something on television does not mean it is the way it is portrayed.
