If you get the treadmill from a fitness store they will instal and put it where you want it. My experience with treadmills is that one does not use the cheap ones often for many reasons but when you have the high end, therapeutic, kind to the joints, type, you use it every day. It sits there looking at you... kind of invitingly.

My wife has learned to ignore the treadmill. Sigh
