First of all, the information about 84% of mask wearers contracted Covid has been fact checked and that information is NOT TRUE. Someone already posted a link to that fact check from CNN. See in a previous post.
Secondly, healthcare workers are dealing with Covid positive patients all day long. They are dealing with procedures, such as intubation, that have all sorts of Covid containing "stuff" flying at them. Even N95 masks leave the healthcare workers 5% vulnerable to Covid. Healthcare workers are in a very compromised environment. Anyone who refuses to wear a mask should think of the jeopardy they put health care workers in. Our hospitals are becoming overwhelmed and we should be doing everything possible from that becoming a reality right here in our neighborhood. Wear a mask and do your part.
