New or Pre-Owned
We are renting a villa in Bonita for July and August and are really looking forward to it. We should know by the end of two months where we would most like to live. From up here in NW Georgia we keep waffling between used and new.
We have read an article about a woman who bought a new house in TV that apparently had several defects in its construction. 5he was told by TV that she would have to live in the house while repairs were made (I am assuming that meant TV would not pay for her to stay elsewhere). She refused and eventually TV bought her house back and banned her from buying another house in TV for life.
Does anyone have the straight scoop on this? With my experience in real estate I can imagine a scenario or two, but would like to hear from someone who has heard or knows both sides of the story. This story has made us lean a bit towards pre-owned to avoid any similar problems.
