We were able to simply peel/pick the old ones off using fingernails, took a while. You may want to try a hair dryer to soften the glue and then try the finger nails. Also, if you do not want to use your finger nails, automotive parts stores usually carry plastic (hard vinyl) spreaders for Bondo, these are also useful for scraping off decal and not damaging paint. Do NOT try any metal tools as you will damage the paint, also many chemical used to remove decals can damage paint. Hope this helps.
