Never had malaria but I have had dengue fever from a mosquito bite. Not fun at all. Yes, the spraying has been going on this year. I try not to spend much time outside in the evening, because of the tiny blood suckers. That is what you must put up with when you live in a swamp state.
Doesn't matter much if you wear a mask when it comes to those tiny blood suckers.
