No, I don't think that. We are currently behind China's rate of growth economically. We are laughing stocks around the world. We have lost the respect of our traditional allies and counties like Germany are discussed with us and intend to make new and more dependable alliances as a matter of their own self-preservation. We are on our own! We have tried to connect with Russia, Hungary, and Saudi Arabia and they just want to screw us...up in every way possible. so much for good foreign relations. That IS our current situation. So, after the election, we will either rebuild or continue down this self-imposed rabbit hole! The US future is NOT so bright that it needs to wear shades!
Other factors.......CV could STAY around and continue to change everyone's life (even those who pretend to ignore it, especially the over age 55). A vaccine MAY be proven safe in about June 2021. Then, it might take 2 doses and distribution requires EXTREME low temperature so will be a tough PROBLEM, solvable around 2022. The US has a failing infrastructure, with some of the world's worse roads, bridges, and tunnels. A jobs program is necessary to fix that problem. Problems of racism, Global Warming, and overpopulation will continue - some are on a "slow boil" some more immediate. Environmental deterioration and animal species extinguishment continue unabated and well below the conscious level of the average American.
US society has forgotten that its 1st and main objective is to protect the lives and health of ALL its citizens. This needs to be a renewed objective after this Historic election. Historic in numbers of voters. The voters are trying to say something here.....and what it IS ain't exactly clear......put an egg in my beer.....get me ready for the new year, Dear!
