We have been to 2 driveway socials and the mosquitoes drove the people away at dusk. If you on the golf courses at dusk you need spray. Awful, we have called Sumter county about the issue and they sprayed right away but there is only so often you can call. I think the problem is they are saving money and we have been told they now spray based on traps they put out and the number of bugs caught has to be greater than a magic number before they spray. Before this new "scientific" method they had a schedule that they sprayed on. The only way for them to get the picture is CALL and complain or hibernate and don't go out of the house at dusk.
Where did you hear about the "saving money"? The county has been using the trap and count method for a long time.
