You lost me there.
If you hang them on the wall they will touch the wall or you can tape up a sheet of painters drop cloth under them or put up a shelf and just lay them on the shelf or buy a 6' multi-shelf rolling rack and put them on that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Maybe I am misunderstanding your request? You could also probably hang them on an extended hook 6" from the wall but then you will waste garage space and/or walk or drive into them.
