I agree cash is KING, but if we go out to eat 3 times a week, that means we need to carry about $200+ on me and go to the ATM every week.
Credit cards are very safe. Federal law protects you from fraudulent charges. If you tell the bank you did not make the charge, they freeze your account and issue you a new card. Stealing and using credit card numbers is a felony. The new cards with chips are even safer. Soon the account numbers will be removed from the cards once we go to 100% chip processing.
