I just read through all of these helpful posts and got some answers I need.
(Velvet, I, too, am a “stick in the mud” about privacy. And I sure don’t want facial recognition. It’s bad enough when I have to recognize my own face on my phone when I start to take a picture and startle myself when I realize I have flipped the camera. This is especially horrifying if I am looking down at whatever I was trying to photograph.
I assume fingerprinting and facial recognition can be turned off. Is that correct?)
My main concern about the transferring from Android has been that I don’t want to lose my pictures and/or my contacts.
I know I would like a big screen, even though the bigger screened iPhone would not fit in that convenient side pocket, with its own zipper, that is on the outside of my usual purse.
