I do not expect another human being to put their own health at risk to protect mine. If I want to feel safe I will avoid crowds, keep a distance from other people and wear a mask as I deem appropriate. I know that is not a popular opinion here. But that is my view on the subject.
I do not have to wear a mask all day for any reason so I am not personally affected by the possibility of becoming ill from wearing a mask for long periods of time. Having said that, I would certainly keep a box of the disposable masks handy so I could change the mask before it becomes very wet from my own breath. That is a quite simple solution for anyone who is prone to respiratory infections. It really is a "no brainer".
