Since I didn’t quote a post, it was not directed to anyone. When we Costco shop we buy 3 cases of water at a time. Not stock piling, we only make the trip about ever 5-6 weeks. So when I see people buy couple cases of water, at a time I would never think anything about it. Plus I don’t expect the behavior of others to change mine.

We hail from the north where dead of winter we could lose power for 10 days. Didn’t panic then, so a hurricane doesn’t change much for us. Wonder with the aging population here, a lot in their 70s, 80s, makes some hoard maybe out of fear. But then again our parents in their 80s still in winter wonderland have never hoarded ( well they do have 3 shovels, 2 snowblowers, one light weight for porch, deck and small sidewalk, and then Big Ben that can move 3 feet depth of snow while make the best sledding hill)

In TV if they were buying a pallet of products, that would be different issues altogether. We did go to an open house, and in the nook there was 10 cases of water. I found that strange and maybe not so unusual here
