Masks minimize the risk of contracting Covid. Masks do not prevent Covid transmission. That information has been very well relayed to the public.

It is up to each and every citizen of this United States to do their part to slow the spread of the virus. The way to do that is to wear a mask indoors in public spaces, social distance always, do not congregate in large crowds and wear a mask outdoors when social distancing can not be maintained.
