Love TV! Love America!
I try to stay informed about American happenings so I can use my "rights" to mobilize my "responsibilities" to speak up. For stupid stuff, I agree with you, but I can tell you, as I just spent months fighting the Sumter and Town of LL about their inappropriate developer support to bring apartments into the Hacienda residential neighborhood. Setting up to build apartments elsewhere in TV without having to go back to counties. Sumter Commissioners also raised taxes 25% last year to find county infrastructure that TV typically pays for. My point is that your emotional response is kinda a cop-out and nasty to others. You are quite misinformed about several comments. News-com is independent and without this, TV we would not have anyone looking under the stones. The Developers are the 3 Gkids of Harold, Gary's kids. They are not bad people at all, but they are advised by many people who may not have the best interests of owners at the top. Hopefully, you realize that being privately owned will not transfer to the next generation and will lead to being sold as one entity, or broken up, its public offerings. TV has been taking actions typical if prep for these actions. Selling off excess commercial space and establishing better cash streams like apartments. If you chose to not be involved in monitoring the happenings on TV, then don't criticize those who do (not the regular complainers or flame throwers) stay in the know to keep our investments healthy. FL has a few planned developments that as the leaders made bad decisions collapsed and the owners either lost tons of money or are living in the remaining mess. I learned a lot over the past months that I didn't want to, but I feel that my and others' efforts are causing some needed course correction that may keep our utopia going. Like getting 3 new Commissioners and the AAC getting new membership. Happy Thanksgiving
