True! The "Developer"
owned the property on which the animal was felled. Some folk have no idea what it's like to have deer or elk overrun their property. Today's anthropomorphizing of animals is an unfortunate result of the "Bambi Syndrome", in which any furry beast with big eyes is considered lovable and benign. If you have not lived among them, you may think they're cute. In truth, deer, especially male deer, travel in herds. They are destructive, dangerous, and can transmit deadly disease to humans and other animals. Their herds need to be thinned or they will die -on their own - in unpleasant circumstances. I for one am thankful there are still those among us (hunters, landowners, etc.) who are willing to perform this service.
