Tradition should never change

Brined fresh Turkey (cause most from the south either brine or fry)

Oyster dressing for my granddaddy (who is no longer with us)
Wide greenbean cooked forever with ham hock for granny (no longer with us)
Candied Yams for my dad (also gone)

Grilled corn for Son and Grandson ( it’s the only veggie they will eat)
Black olives for my daughter and grandson, (alway eats them on their fingers)
Baked beans with bacon for my Mom
Fresh Cranberries for my granddaughter
Brussel Sprout salad ( the oldest, and wife are vegetarian)
Ham for son in law cause he hates turkey
Homemade gravy for other half cause the only one that uses it.
Homemade rolls that I didn’t burn this year thanks to Alexa.

Homemade Pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and homemade cannolis for all

Thanks to modern technology we all had dinner together, with our Alexa’s
Not sure if everyone was honest, but they all missed not being here, their dinner was not as good as mine

After packed up 10 dinners in special containers that keeps food warm for hours. Then delivered to friends that were alone this year.

Hope everyone had a close to normal Thanksgiving
That is a wonderful story, thanks for sharing.
