Yeah, I learned that is what they are
supposed to do, but that didn't happen. Mail continued to be put in my mailbox. I suspect that the delivery person stuffed what they could in the box and then dropped the rest in a bin. If there was room the next day, they's put some of the overflow back in the box. I think it just stacked up until they realized that they were never going to catch up, so they put it all in a parcel box. Definitely against postal regulation. In fact, it's a federal crime to delay mail delivery. I doubt the culprit was prosecuted or even fired.
