Oh yes. I'm pretty sure I even had at least one of their albums back in the day. Kerry Livgren introducing me to Italian prog had a huge effect on me. After that night I checked out Banco, PFM, Le Orme, Area, etc. To this day, I still think Banco is one of the best bands ever, in any genre, from any country. I had the good fortune to finally see them live in one of their rare U.S. appearances at a progfest in PA around 2008.
And strangely enough...Banco had a hold on Kansas, too. Their song The Spider from Point of Know Return sounds exactly like the great Italian proggers.
