Interesting. The jhunewsletter article claims a steady 62K deaths per week from 2/1 through 9/5. This
CDC MMWR report shows the graph we've seen all along with excess deaths (>62K) beginning near the week ending 3/28, peaking at 80K the week of 4/11, and continuing through September.
How can these to datasets be so different and which one is correct?
