Telling restaurants that they can only partially reopen for delivery only, for instance, has caused the needless failing of once thriving restaurants all over the country. Those failures have robbed people of their life savings and plunged them into despair and poverty which is NOT healthy. Yet, in spite of this Coronavirus is still going around.

I must respectfully disagree that your solution is at all patriotic. People know how to assess their own risks, and trust me, if they were afraid of dying from eating out at restaurants, shopping at the stores, going to their health clubs or visiting their family members you would not need to be scolding them into staying at home. It's important to keep our children educated, our communities running while enjoying a decent quality of life.
