You have gotten great recommendations from previous post, granny always said liquid ivory soap is best used to fight off aphids n maybe whiteflies, she said soak the plants but protect the soil n roots from the soap! Some plants can use a little thinning out to let the sun and air in to prevent moldy situations! In the cooler months plants don’t need as much water and rains normally are adequate for the plants to survive unless in small pots. A trick I have grown to love is that the right plants can fight off those pests that destroy, most times. Planting marigolds, dill, cilantro, garlic and other plants really repel aphids. Petunias also but at times must be the right types. Herbs are our best friends in fighting bugs most of the time
