Jody, because you said TECO, I assume you were quoted a price to replace a gas water heater with another gas water heater. That being said, if you look at the TECO web site the rebates are either $350.00 or $400.00 - one is for a standard heater and the other is for an energy efficient heater (the one I got at LOWES was energy efficient and cost approx. $450.00.) I got the $400.00 rebate..... there is
no $250.00 rebate but..... if I remember correctly there is a place on the rebate form to have the TECO check sent
to you or the Contractor. Tell him you want the
check sent to you. They should fill out the form for you and let you
sign and mail it in after reading it carefully.
