avoid Spa Kingdom on 27/441
I have a 10 month old hot tub that's needed the control panel replaced twice.. the 1st time they wanted a $95 service fee, I complained and they dropped it to $65.. that panel lasted 5 weeks and AGAIN just this past Friday they wanted this time there normal $95 fee.. I went ballistic and insisted that the owner conatct me...again this hot tub is less than 1 yr old and under a 5yr. electrical parts warranty... the sales rep. did get back to me and they did finally waive the service fee per the owner ... the good side of this were at day 3 of the new panel and its still working
I don't blame spa kingdom for the defective parts but I think the MFG, of the hot tub should be paying SERVICE CALLS on defective parts... especially the 1st year... and per the contract it does say that the dealer is reimbursed a nominal fee by the mfg ... but apparently not nominal enough so they charge the customer also ... I think that's called "double dipping"
