Another thought.... I was reading some of the prior posts on TOTV (do a forum search on TRANE); someone with a similar problem negotiated with Munns to buy the warranty as part of the repair and then they waived the labor for the coil repair. So, it might cost you about $600 for the 10 yr warranty (dating back to when home was built) but you avoid the $300-$400 labor for this one repair and have coverage for 7 more years.
