The coolest part was not watching the eclipse, but observing the wildlife going bonkers. Thousands of fish jumping out of the water, beaching themselves. Hugh flocks of birds, many species rarely seen, erratically flying about. Whales rolling about on the surface of the water shooting blasts of water from their blow holes. Something about the eclipse had to be the cause of that, it could not have been a coincidence?

I was in Missouri at that time, all birds were going to roost. Crickets started? Squirrels ran for there dens.
