I am not recommending it to anyone, but in the same time not to be fearful. I have seen people step in front of traffic here to keep the 6 feet distance which I think is a lot more dangerous.
FWIW eight of the nine I know who have died were in Missouri. Just heard today of an old college and teaching friend who spent five and a half weeks in the hospital with COVID and had a small stroke during that time. He is recovering but said it was very rough.
