I agree, if you are actively exercising, and keep your entire body in the water, the temperature in the sports pools is adequate. I have swam laps in the sports pools with the outside temperature was in the high 30’s with no problem. It is cold when you get out, but just dry off quickly and slip in some sweats and all is good.

That being said, we like to keep our back yard pool closer to 90 in the winter since we are more relaxing than working out. And when it’s real cold, we pass on the frozen margaritas in plastic cups.
