Played Chula Vista for my first time today and subsequent it's past Monday opening. I found the recently rebuilt tee boxes in a lush green state. Approaches to green all in great shape. Greens rolled a little slower than most courses I recently played. Rest of features all in great shape, including the mostly white sand traps. I noted most holes were 150 yards on gold tees. Course in great shape as should be expected. I also enjoyed the challenge of the tree lined fairways for a change. Don't waste any time if you're interested in playing while in its peak condition.
