Hmmm, not sure how getting in a great weightless exercise, that puts no stress on the body’s joints, would be a recipe for health problems? Read the book, Why We Swim, by Bonnie Tsui, there is significant scientific evidence that cold water swimming has very significant health benefits. I much prefer swimming laps in the cold of the winter. I sweat while swimming in the summer it is so hot out, and can’t swim laps in the middle of the day without getting a sunburn, which is a recipe for health problems.
