Perhaps it wouldn't bother you if I had a blow-horn in front of your house, facing your house, while you were trying to eat dinner, and sang off-key Frank Sinatra songs with the wrong words, just because I can.

But it would probably bother other people. So I try to sing on key, for them. The guy in the pool who made a fuss about the music was wrong. He can be wrong in his own home. He is not entitled to be wrong about personal music at the pools.
