So TRUE, true, true. I have mused on that very topic many times; do those who fear leaving their own homes (I am assuming otherwise healthy people, not at risk people) ever stop to think that if they don't see that son or daughter, or don't spend Christmas with their grandchildren, or take the longed for vacation..... they may be hit by a car and killed tomorrow morning ? Or, choke on a pretzel and die tonight ! It's really difficult to understand how various people process information and make decisions. One wise person on here expressed that the "risk/reward" factor is an INDIVIDUAL EQUATION, no one, on this forum or your next door, can work out your PERSONAL equation, it's just not possible. What we all must do is allow others to make their decisions and choices, the striking out at innocent friends and neighbors who decide to visit their grand children, or have an anniversary dinner out, or play cards with friends has just got to stop before we have a population of folks obsessed with the personal decisions of others; this is NOT what a mentally healthy society does ! People, right here in our community are letting fear ( of what ? sickness ? death ? or just being "right" ?) actually change their natural personalities, not a good sign !
