Strange things will begin to happen with your phone. Voice mails won't come through, even though you have the settings correct, text notifications will stop working, and things in general will slow way down. Also, if you do anything online with your phone, security will be jeopardized as it is no longer supported with older operation systems.

Apple has tricky ways of making the performance of older devices very annoying in an effort to push consumers into a new product. We are both still using our 6 pluses, but the experience is becoming increasingly unsatisfying. I am hoping to get another year out of it since I replaced the OEM battery about 6 months ago.
