The same poster who started this thread I would bet doesn’t play with a mask on and doesn’t maintain a minimum of six feet from other players in his group at all times. When all this is over and under control you’ll start to see validated studies that will refute some of the opinions, and that’s what they are, of many professional and non professional individuals.

This is a very thoughtful post and I agree with most of it, not that you OR many people care what I think. I am a retired Preschool teacher who then became a Reebok rep for several years. I am NOT a medically educated person. We have a daughter born with a congenital issue that made her hospitalized many times and made me very respectful of legitimate medicine . I am a firm believer in finding an excellent physician and taking her/his advice.
I suspect that we will, as you say, find out after the fact, a lot of things about this damned virus. How exactly it is spread, why some people get sicker or die and others have few symptom etc.
But I am STILL an annoying old woman. Six feet (not three) is social distance and if you are old and catch Covid-19 you are still in far more danger than the kids in school. It is better to be safe than sorry. We are near the end of this pandemic. Get the vaccine as soon as you can everybody. I so enjoy this Forum.
