[QUOTE=Garywt;1887477]I love driving in my golf cart but these donkeys that need to go 25, 30 or 35 mph passing people causing issues for other following the rules. What is the rush unless they are in a hurry to die. We like to enjoy ourselves and do go 20-21 but I don’t understand the rush. The one that had to pass me tonight proceeded to then turn 20 feet down the road.[/QUOTE

Happens to us all the time, ALL the time. Drive faster than you would ever think a golf cart can go .... on the trail toward LS square, past AP golf course, and the trail splits, had someone who almost overturned their cart and OURS trying to beat us to the trail split..... then all 6 carts, including the "crazy race driver" we all stopped together waiting to make the left hand turn to the square ! Worth the death defying maneuver and speed ! Also was alone in the cart last summer, going to Walmart, doing 22. Guy came around me and screamed something (?) shaking his fist. I paid no attention and really could not hear (gas carts) but on he went. Imagine how shocked (and actually a little frightened) I was when I got to Walmart, parked, was walking toward store and he came right up to me screaming how I was going to cause an accident "and get someone killed if you always drive that slow"..... continued to curse and scream that people who "do not drive at least 25 mph are a danger to everyone". I was so startled to think he had sped all that way, passing me before the tunnel, and then would wait in the parking lot until I got there and parked ! There were people around, but even so, very frightening. I was going exactly 21 mph, which I find MANY people find completely unacceptable ! Our cart's top speed is only 26, but we seldom ever "floor" it, usually 21, 22 is fine for us. The man did NOT appear to be drunk ! Just a screaming, very nasty, intimidating, man who was in a hurry, but had time to wait until I arrived ?????
