Please remember to adjust raw numbers by total population to come up with a rate of death. Number of deaths in a county is not a useful statistic, whereas rate (or % of deaths) is useful for making comparisons. Both Lake and Marion Counties have a population approximately three times that of Sumter, and Miami is even many multiples greater.
