Personally, I would rather not have had my first dose at this point and waited for when I would have been guaranteed to have a 2nd dose when it was due, per manufacturers recommendations. I most certainly would have waited for when this roll out was more consistent. Hind sight is 20/20. I feel like I (and others) will come out with the short end of the stick and that is just a very bad feeling I have.

Very interesting perspective: Give clarity (and a choice) to the patient!
I've been focusing on the discussion of overall merits of a single shot to more people over two shots to fewer.
Left unsaid: The evaluators are betting on a sufficient supply for second shots to be manufactured "just in time," rather than depending on existing inventory.
Lots of interdependent roulette wheels at play!
