I've been told that the 2nd shot is a booster....the same shot as the 1st one. It seems that there is a bit of flexibility in when then 2nd is administered....just has to be at least 28 days (for Maderna). I haven't found out/heard of how much time after 28th day, but I would think at least a month. I get that it's the same 'shot', just can't understand why they would not 'pull' and reserve, the 2nd shots, before administering 1st shots to new people (and, YES, I am one of the 7500 waiting for the 1st shot. the issue of availability of the 2nd shot concerns me. Hopefully this will get resolved in the next few days.
