An alligator goes weeks without eating so every gator you see is not looking for a meal. Males are more aggressive and move about during mating season but gators do not breed until 10 years of age which would put them in the 7 to 9 foot range. If one of that size is walking about in the spring give him a little extra space. Remember any complaint about a gator results in their death. There is no relocation, a trapper is not paid for moving a gator to a new home. They sell the hide and meat. Remember nature was here before us.
