I don't doubt what you said. I had success with an Android phone using the Samsung browser, and had no success using a desktop computer with the Windows 10 Microsoft Edge browser. But, logically, going from the queue to making an appointment has everything to do with what the remote Publix server does and very little or nothing to do with the type of browser you are using. That is, assuming your device was connected to the Publix server and communicating with it.
