Go the inexpensive online route if there's not a lot of assets to consider

We had simple wills created when we first became Floridians 7 years ago....$250 each...attorney actually came to the house, but that was down in Ft Lauderdale

just had a local elder law attorney redo the wills....OMG the stack of paper is a full quarter inch thick, with the health proxy, POA and living will it's a full 1/2 inch (printed one sided)...he's thrown every possible thing in that will...90% of which is garbage boilerplate and will NEVER EVER be anything that my heirs have to deal with...total overkill. At least it was a fixed price.

we had trusts in the past...paid about $12K...then every other year another $3-4K because his lawyer buddies changed the tax laws in our state...so we had to have him adjust the trust so that it would be enforceable ....

they run a nice scam

At least Jessie James had a horse and a gun!
