I would like to purchase something even if it is nominal and then give her the rest in cash we collected. suggestions are most welcome and would love to hear what you received when you retired. Did anyone receive a video where individuals talked or a book with memories written in it?
Conn, my honey received some nice gifts, but his favorites were:

* Framed and nicely matted "Natif D'acadiana" big picture of a crawfish with a little brass plaque at the bottom. (Don't know if I spelled that right. It means Native Cajun)
* Framed and nicely matted (I love good matting!) big montage of 37 years of the company's product. He worked there for 37 years.
* Framed and widely matted picture of his building with signatures and good wishes written directly on the mat

Of all the gifts he received, the pictures are the ones he treasures most.
