Thanks for your suggestions.

Called Nordic trac this morning. They will not help diagnose over the phone.

Good chance it is the circuit board but cannot be 100% certain.

New board costs $ 159.91 plus shipping and not likely they would take back if it does not fix the problem.

Having their tech guy come to diagnose costs $ 159 base cost and than return with the part costs an additional $ 65.

Not worth putting that much money into a 7-8 year old treadmill, so we will have to consider if she will use it enough to buy a new one.
