It is a newspaper owned by the developer and of course they want to present a ‘good news’ newspaper without all of the gloom and doom that you can get every day by watching the news. It is a medium to provide us information about the Villages and the Villages clubs and lifestyle – it was never meant to be the Orlando Sentinel or the New York Times. If that is what you want – subscribe to those papers. I think the Daily Sun does a great job of touching on the highlights – or low lights – on world news and sports and then moves on to just what we (or at least I) moved here for – the Villages lifestyle. I always find something interesting to read – a good news story – and it has the comics and crossword puzzles – in a larger font for my aging eyes. And it only costs a quarter! What a deal – lighten up everyone and take it for what its worth.
