Default Installation of motion detector lights on home.
In light of the recent break ins and attempted break ins we have been wondering about motion detector lights. We have heard that there are even those powered by solar panels.

Have any of you had motion detector lights installed? If so where on your home? Do you mind sharing the cost? It would also be good to have a recommendation for the contractor you used to install them. Did any of you install them yourself?

Any information would be appreciated. Many of our neighbors are very interested as well.
