Too true! The oft told story (true or not) of the man who dressed as a woman to get on one of the Titanic's lifeboats comes to mind.
Fear causes so many to revert into early childhood behavior:
"Me first, me first, waaah!"
Then you add in the "entitlement" factor so prevalent in The Villages:
"I deserve to be first in line because I'm old and can afford to live in a gated community!"
The struggle to get the vaccine immediately is like watching
