That Publix page refreshes every minute - forever! Even now.
It's called "push notification".
You don't have to do anything and whether at 3:30 AM or 6:00 AM there is no advantage to being early.
Once the page says "the system is live" it captures your IP address and puts it on a list.
Every 60 seconds it "pushes" a new notice to a few dozen to start the appointment process.
The other thousands get an update on which counties still have appointments left. This is done this way so the huge traffic doesn't crash their server and cause "Denial of Service."
Just sit and wait with your coffee cup. If you're lucky, you'll get the start appointment page and might get an appointment of your choice.
It's the only way it can handle 300,000+ requests for only 36,000 shots. Takes about an hour to deplete.
Looks like they broke the week into two parts now (Wednesday and Friday) sessions.
