Lake county vaccine site
I live in Sumter and registered for the Lake County web site with Share Care. I received an appointment. I was asked if I was positive within the last two weeks. The answer was no back in Dec. 8th. I arrived was registered, went through screening( this is held at the old Sears building on 441, Leesburg)...after two screeners I waited for my turn. I finally arrived at the nurses station to receive my vaccine and was then asked if I had Covid. I said yes Dec. 8th. The nurse stated I need to wait 90 days after my positive in order to get the vaccine or else I may get sick. They have a great process but they left out the 90 day positive rule.. just a warning.
