I don't know how frequently this might happen, but given the questionable parking practices of some, I have personally seen TOO many tight parking instances. Ever see a car squeeze in next to a golf cart in a parking spot? I have, multiple times. I also don't want to move my mirrors in and out each time I park so that others don't bang into them.

The salesman said the same thing when I bought the cart. I gave the little mirrors a try and hated the distorted view. Bought the mirrors with the front and back leds cheap online. Bend them in when necessary. Didn't even have to cut or splice the turn signal wires due to a crimpable fitting with an available opening already there.
