I saw this online and I thought I would pass it along. I am not with the Humane Society of Marion County, so any questions or reporting needs to be directed to them. People like this make it rough for honest people trying to help their shelter or rescue.

*UPDATE* Suspect has been spotted in Lady Lake as of 02/03/2021
We have had several reports recently of a male (late 40's, early 50's) that has been soliciting businesses wearing a white Humane Society of Marion County shirt with black lettering. He has been collecting funds stating that they will be going to us. We do not know who this individual is but we do not solicit at businesses. Please be on the look out. We are looking into this matter.
